I'm planning on getting Lasik in the next couple of months. I'm pretty scared, the thought of lasers in my eyes isn't very assuring. Does anyone have any recommendations for me? Or even reassuring Lasik stories!

My husband and I have both had lasik and have had no problems at all! i am just so greatful to be able to see again without glasses. There is really no reason to be worried. My eyes were a little dry afterwards.. but I just used eyedrops and drank alot of water and they were back to normal in no time at all. I have never heard of anyone having a problem with the surgery.

I'm thinking about getting Lasik too! I'm a little nervous, but everyone I know who has had it done came out fine. I would definitely like to be able to see without my glasses!!

I have an appointment to see an ophthalmologist on Monday about scheduling my Lasik surgery. They were very comforting during the initial visits and answered all my questions – I’m not worried.
Talk to people in person that have had Lasik in your area. It’s very comforting talking to someone in person.

I got lasik about a month ago. My eyesight is great now. There was no complications with surgery. The only thing that I don't like is that I feel like my eyes don't adjust to the dark as quickley or as well. It might just be me over analyzing though.

My sister got Lasik about a year ago. She was really happy with the results. She told me I should go get it too and that it was fast and painless. I'm thinking about making an appointment!
